What is Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a social media management tool that helps you schedule and post updates to any pages or profiles such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Twitter, or LinkedIn. You are able to organize all of your social media outlets and organize them in a dashboard like the one below.



Hootsuite has some special features that sets them apart from their competition. While they are seen as a business outlet it can also be used for personal social media. One feature is you can post directly to multiple social media pages all at once. These can be posted on a schedule so you do not have to post them right away.



Above is an example of a scheduled blog post. I have included a link of my blog and have selected three pages to have Hootsuite post it to. They are scheduled on a timer and will all appear on my page at the exact time I have selected. Hootsuite is a great idea if you have multiple forms of social media and want to keep them all up to date.
